Long flights, forecasts, and Internet Explorer
Nov 30, 2009 We have found that Internet Explorer has difficulty rendering TAF and METAR graphics on sectionals. We have substituted a temporary implementation of TAF and METAR graphics for IE, which does not scale with zoom level (but now DOES allow you to click on the TAF to get forecast details). The advantage is that the performance is tolerable. Please bear with us while we continue working on better support for IE. In the meantime, we recommend the use of Firefox, Safari, or another well-designed browser whenever possible. You can download Firefox from http://www.firefox.com .
